I recently wrote The Ultimate How To Disappear, but not thrilled with the outcome. However, some of the content has value and so I am posting on this blog. Note, the content is unedited.
Part – 8
You must identify all the risk before deciding on your new disappear place. When thinking about that disappear land there are many factors to take into account. The basics being affordability, medical, can you earn and will you be able to acclimate.
One client requested that I review her new disappear land for dangerous factors. The location she chose was a small island. It was a beautiful place and somewhat utopian. There was one major problem, transportation. The island only had one airline on and off the island and flights every few hours. As far as a boat off the island, it was all by reservation.
This island location was not an ideal place to disappear. If her predator located her, the escape routes were limited. One person posted at the airport and a second at the marina would block all chances of leaving. Her only other option would be to swim, which would have been unrealistic.
When you are searching for your new land think about exit strategy. How do you get out of Dodge if your predator comes knocking? In my opinion, being on an island is a negative. If you are in a city you can exit via the airport, bus station, train station, taxi, car rental, hitch hike, bicycle and even by foot. This is a no brainer.
These are some simple, What If’s you should ask yourself and will hopefully they will prompt other, What If’s in your nugget.
What If… What if you take a train out of town and you are identified? Is there an alternative exit route?
What If… You lose your wallet with all of your identification?
What If… Your, disappear plans go tits up? Do you have a backup plan?
What If… Your disappearance goes viral? Can you hide somewhere for a duration until it cools?
What If… Your bank accounts are seized?
What If… Big Brother finds you?
What If… Your stalker or predator discovers your new disappear address?
What If… You become penniless?
What If… Your mother dies?
What If… You get seriously ill?
What If… Someone from your past approaches you?
What If… What If… What If…
